Living Faith

Students at Norfolk Catholic are taught to understand their responsibility to help the community through prayer and active service.  They are also acquainted with the Gospels and have encountered the person of Jesus Christ as He is presented in the Scriptures.

Living Faith Hours have been built into the Theology Curriculum of Norfolk Catholic 9-12 Grades.  Students must complete 5 hours of Living Faith each semester.

Hours are met in a wide variety of ways:  by helping organizations or individuals in the community, volunteering for various events and nearly any way that our students become Christ's hands and feet in the world around them.

If you have a project that our students could assist with in any way, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or you an reach her at 402-371-2784.

Outreach for Needy Families

The students and staff at Norfolk Catholic Schools regularly support needy families in the Norfolk area.  Some of the ways that they have provided help and assistance include:

  • Physical labor (raking, mowing, household tasks) for the elderly or sick.

  • Visiting the elderly or sick in nursing homes.

  • Providing food - either by cooking or collection of food items - for those in need.

  • Monetarily supporting families.

  • And many, many other ways!

If you know of someone who is in need of assistance in the Norfolk Community, we encourage you to give us their name.  Your referral will be held in the strictest of confidences.  You can refer someone in need to Dona Long, Sacred Heart Parish Office Administrator, 402-371-2621 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
