Daily HS Announcements - Monday, August 20, 2018

Prayer:  God our Father, through the prayers of Saint Bernard, may we, like him, eat the bread of learning and drink the water of wisdom.  We ask this through Jesus Christ, the giver of all good things and who is Lord forever and ever. AMEN.

1.  Reminder that all forms that students received in their packet on the first day of school need to be signed and returned to the school office by this Friday, August 24th.

2.  The girls golf dual with Battle Creek scheduled for today has been postponed to Thursday, September 13th.

3.  There will be a Jr. High volleyball meeting today from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.

4.  Seniors are asked to get their spirit basket money to Mr. Fisher as soon as possible.

5.  8th grade students need to get their spirit money and class dues to Mr. Pospisil by this Friday, August 24th.

6.  7th grade class dues and spirit money needs to be paid to Mr. Miller by this Friday.

7.  Juniors need to pay their $5.00 for Spirit to Ms. Freese by this Friday!

8.  Cross-country team pictures will be taken right after school today.

9.  There will be a meeting this Wednesday morning at 7:45 for anyone in grades 9-12 interested in One-Act.  Meet in Room 316.

10. There will be a Red Zone meeting this Wednesday during 5th period in the cafeteria.

11. There will be a senior parent & student meeting tonight at 7:00 in the cafeteria regarding the ski trip, trash bag sales and split the pot.

12. There will be a bowling meeting and possible practice, for students in grades 9-12, on Tuesday, August 21st at 6:00 p.m. at Kings Lanes.  Parents should also attend. Contact Coach Graae at (402) 640-8258 if you have any questions.

13. An elementary family is looking for a high school girl or boy who can drive and would be interested in watching their son on Tuesdays after school for a couple hours.  If you are interested in this great part-time job opportunity, please see Leisa Piper for more information.

Daily HS Announcements - Friday, August 17, 2018

Prayer:  Holy Spirit, we ask that you baptize us with the same baptism Jesus received.  Kindle the same fire within us so that we may burn with love, truth, hope and joy.  We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. AMEN.

1.  School pictures will be taken at the high school on Monday morning, August 20th.  Students may dress-up for pictures. Jeans are NOT allowed.

2.  Reminder that all forms that students received in their packet on the first day of school need to be signed and returned to the school office by Friday, August 24th.

3.  All internet use policy and acceptable use policy forms need to be returned today in order to receive your chromebook.  These forms were in the packet that students received on the first day.

4.  The high school volleyball scrimmage will be held today at 4:30 p.m. and the football scrimmage will take place at 5:30 p.m.  The Booster Club Hot Dog Feed will start at 5:30 p.m. in the parish center. A sportsmanship meeting will follow at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the activities center.

5.  Anyone who did not pick up their yearbook yesterday, please do so today during 5th period study hall in Mrs. Hampl’s room.

6.  Equipment checkout for Jr. High football will take place today right after school.

1.  Girls golf at O’Neill today starting at 9:00 a.m.

2.  Reminder that all forms that students received in their packet on the first day of school need to be signed and returned to the school office by Friday, August 24th.
