Seeking Truth Calendar for Isaiah

This fall starts our 5th season of Seeking Truth Catholic Bible Study.  Journey with us as we study the  major prophet Isaiah.  You will find an abundance of prophetic fulfillments that scholars have termed the 5th Gospel because of their accurate foretelling of Jesus Christ.  Isaiah is often read in liturgical settings but when you understand the historical context, the mass readings take on even deeper meanings.  Sessions begin on Tuesday, Sept 11th at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Church basement or 7pm in Mrs. Price’s Norfolk Catholic High School Math room – enter the east door of the High School. Lively small group discussions and visually aided lectures from Sharon Doran help the scriptures come alive and apply to daily life. Wednesday Noon Catholic Studies

Unlocking the Mysteries of the Bible

Begins Wednesday, August 29th at Noon (8 Weeks)

Parish Office Basement
$20 for workbook

This study provides the easiest way to understand the Bible. Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible makes the complex simple. It helps you uncover the story woven throughout Scripture, so that you can get the “big picture” of the Bible and understand what it’s all about. The Bible is a story about the Father’s unfailing love for you, a love that you are now called to share with others.

“The effect on my parishioners has been wonderful: a deeper love for Christ, a deeper experience with the sacraments, and continued love for the Scriptures.” —Fr. Becker, Minnesota
