Sacramental Prepraration

Our goal at Sacred Heart Parish is to help families prepare their child for the Sacraments.

First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion are held during a child’s second grade year.  Confirmation students start preparing during their eight grade year and make Confirmation as ninth graders.

We also have RCIA and CCIC programs.  These programs are for students who have not received a Sacrament(s) during the regular grade.

At Sacred Heart Parish, the Sacrament of Confirmation is conferred upon children in the 9th grade. Registration begins in the Spring with an orientation of 8th grade students with a meeting for youth and parents/guardians.
