“You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light in the house." - Matt 5:14-15
By their actions, the disciples of Jesus are to influence the world for the good. As we move towards embracing the pastoral vision (One Church: Encountering Jesus, Equipping Disciples, and Living Mercy), it is vital that we, who have been called by Christ and sent forth by Him, influence the culture of our parishes, their apostolates, our communities, and indeed, the world.
