Prayer: God our Father, we thank you for sending us guardian angels who guide us and protect us.  Help us to hear the Good News of your word as we listen to the scriptures each day.  We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.  AMEN.

  1. Girls golf finished 5th as a team at the Mid-State Conference Meet at Indian Hill Country Club in Beemer yesterday. Low score was Arryn Tielke who finished 21st
  1. Congratulations to the 7A and 8A on their win over Christ Lutheran yesterday. The 7B and 8B teams lost. 
  1. Softball was beaten by Lincoln East 9-2 and 11-0.
  1. Varsity football lost 40-21 to Pierce. 
  1. Cross Country at Battle Creek today starting at 11:00 a.m. 
  1. Softball at HAC conference tournament in Lincoln.
  1. Jr. High volleyball at the Wisner-Pilger Invite tomorrow starting at 8:00 a.m.  The 7th & 8th grade teams will both play Wisner-Pilger in their first round games.
  1. Varsity volleyball at the Columbus Classic Tournament on Saturday.  The Lady Knights will play Blair in their first match at 9:00 a.m.
  1. If any High school Band students need to double check or make sure their instruments are loaded for Saturday morning, this needs to be taken care of by the end of the day.
  1. Schedule for Homecoming:

7:15 pm Doors open 

7:30 pm Coronation (Activities Center)

8:00-11:00 pm- Dance (Parish Center)

*Doors will not open to the Parish Center until after Coronation. Students must enter into the Parish Center through the elementary commons to be breathalyzed.

  1. All 9th graders are responsible for cleaning up after the Homecoming dance. We expect to finish around 11:30 PM. If you are unable to come due to a prior commitment or lack of transportation, your parent/guardian needs to contact Mrs. Headley before the dance, and you will owe your hour of service to the school at another time.                                                                                                               
  1. Families, students, and staff are invited to the Life Chain on Sunday 10/4 from 2-3 PM at the intersection of 13th St. and Norfolk Ave. Signs will be available for a peaceful, prayerful hour of public witness for women and their unborn children. Students, please gather at the Walgreen corner afterwards for a picture. Living faith hours apply.

  1. Flu shots will be available Monday, October 12th from 3:00pm-7:00pm in the Elementary Commons.
  1. Students have the opportunity to sell Spirit raffle tickets. Tickets can be picked up in the office. Students who sell 10 or more raffle tickets will receive a $10 GC. The student/family who sells the most raffle tickets will win a great prize! Raffle ticket order forms & money must be turned into office by Thursday, October 15!
  1.
